Are you sure the Huskers are even going to get to a bowl? There are no guaranteed wins left on the schedule. No game is a guarantee; that's why you play them, but each and every team left on the schedule could very well beat the Huskers.

This lifelong Big Red fan is really tired of the comments--even from the players--about being out of position, the scheme, communications ... yadda, yadda. All you need to watch is that Minnesota players clearly, unmistakably 'wanted it' more. They were pumped, playing hard, congratulatin…

Regardless of takes the first snap for the Huskers, it's still college kids playing a game they still love. If Vedral starts, it's because Martinez is not ready to go, so let's get behind Vedral and give him the Nebraska fan support he deserves. He's gonna' be out there trying to do his b…

Yes, understand Minnesota is 5-0 and ranked (#25) in a poll. Can't be overlooked. However, comma, the 5 wins are: South Dakota State, Georgia Southern, San Jose State, Purdue and Illinois. I guess we'll see what that all means in the cold on Saturday night in Minneapolis. Go Big Red!

Also keep in mind that it's a night game and the weather forecast for Minneapolis Saturday (and night) is H 38 / L34 with rain and/or snow in the forecast. Which team does that favor? Two more wins needed to at least bowl eligibility. Progress. Keep the eyes looking forward. Go Big Red!

"Nothing to lose" ?? Well ... They lost 'it'--at least for one week--in program embarrassment on Saturday night national TV no less. Not even competitive in any aspect of the game. Why did OSU seem to have more 'fight' in them from the get-go?

Senator Sasse, duh! On one hand you say there is terrible 'stuff,' yet we need more facts. Not helpful! One would think after 2 1/2 years of wasting the nation's time with the "collusion" canard, you would think--as a Senator--you would know the Democrat's game plan. With this, the Democr…

I hear Rex Burkhead has one game of 5th-year senior, red-shirt, hardship eligibility left to play Saturday night. (; o) I was in Columbus last year--remember the 'foul ball' kick-off? Huskers scored first, led at half, and had their chances. (Admittedly) with their best game of the season…

But, it 'can' be done. A big 'W' is possible. If you can get to 36-31, with a halftime lead, IN Columbus last year, the possible is in sight with a home crowd in Lincoln. (Remember the 'foul ball' kick-off last year in Columbus?) And doesn't Rex Burkhead have a "5th-year senior graduate t…

Sam's practice report stated: "Safety Cam Taylor-Britt practiced Wednesday in a green, no-contact jersey. He also carried an oar out of practice. " What does it mean to "carry an oar out of practice?" What am I missing? Is that 'lingo' for something?
