Electoral College landslide? 2016 was the 13th closest electoral college win out of 58 presidential elections.
In the years 1960-2016, there have been 15 elections. The electoral vote in 2016 was the 5th closest of those 15. I'm not sure how that equates to a landslide (both of Obam…
Quick stats, from ESPN:
Nebraska Rushing- 35 carries for 67 yards (1.9 avg.)
Nebraska Passing- 6 completions on 20 attempts for 47 yards, with 3 INTs
Total Offense- 106 yards
But, by all means, blame it on the officials.
Sorry...but both teams sucked on offense, and each committed 3 turnovers. No room for either team to bash officials over one call when you play that poorly on offense. Nebraska committing 3 turnovers cost them the game way more than the alma mater of the conference head of officials.
I think he was being sarcastic about a good kid with decent athletic ability that wants to be a Husker apparently not fitting the profile.
With that being said, I think it's naive to think that a good kid with decent athletic ability is all it will take for Nebraska to be B1G champi…
I appreciate the kind tone....and respect for Snyder. Something that seems to be lacking among this fan base too often is respect for what Snyder did, and for what McCartney did at CU as well. I think Osborne is awesome, but what he inherited was far better than what Snyder …
Snyder didn't get to a bowl until his 5th season....but K-State did manage a 7-4 record in Snyder's 3rd season. Also, despite what Husker fans want to believe, the condition of Nebraska's program when Frost showed up was far greater than what either Snyder or Alvarez inherited.
I don't know about that.....but I do know he needs to win 10 games next year to match Mike Riley's win total (19) at Nebraska.
They had a better record because they played South Alabama instead of Troy.
Do you honestly think that recruits care sit around wondering about contract extensions? They don't. The know that if they don't win, the coach will likely get fired....and don't kid yourself--Frost will be gone in 4 if he does no better than 5-7 in 4 years.
Your comment make no sense. You say a coach should get 3 years, then say that Riley should have been let go earlier than he was. He was in Lincoln for 3 years....so you're basically saying he should have been fired after going 9-4 in season 2.
