Former Nebraska standout James Palmer scored 23 points Sunday for the Phoenix Suns' NBA Summer League team, giving the Suns an overtime win.

LAS VEGAS — Former Husker James Palmer scored a team-high 23 points to lead Phoenix to a 105-100 overtime win over New York in Summer League action Sunday.

Palmer hit 4 of 7 3-pointers and grabbed four rebounds in 33 minutes.

Also, Kimball, Nebraska, product Mike Daum made his Summer League debut for Portland, scoring four points in 11 minutes as the Blazers beat Houston 97-87.
