Ryan O’Hearn hit a three-run home run to lead the Omaha Storm Chasers to a 4-3 victory over San Antonio on Friday night at Werner Park.

O’Hearn broke a 1-1 tie in the third inning with his homer to left field. The Chasers had tied it in the second when Brett Phillips singled home Jorge Bonifacio.

Nate Orf homered and David Freitas singled home a run in the fifth, but three Chaser relievers shut out the Missions the rest of the way.

San Antonio’s best threat was in the eighth, when it had runners at first and second with one out. Mauricio Dubon then singled to left, but left fielder Bonifacio, who was sent down from Kansas City earlier Friday, threw out Jake Hager at home.

Richard Lovelady pitched a perfect ninth for his third save.

Foster Griffin pitched the first five innings for the win. He’s won seven of his last 12 starts.
