GPAC preseason favorite Morningside is ranked fourth and Doane is No. 11 is the NAIA Football Coaches preseason Top 25, which was released Tuesday.

Defending national champion Saint Francis (Indiana) starts the season at No. 1. Another GPAC school, Dakota Wesleyan, is No. 17, while Concordia received the most votes without being in the top 25.

Morningside, which won the GPAC last season, has been in the Top 25 in the past 126 polls, the longest active streak in the country.
