CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Reigning National Golden Gloves champion Brittany Parker dropped a decision to Krystal Dixon of New York Metro Friday in the women’s semifinals at the Tournament of Champions.

The loss ended the week for the Omaha franchise at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Jose Camacho (132 pounds) and Terrance Coleman (152) were both beaten in the men’s quarterfinal round Thursday.

Parker, who won the women’s bracket at 178-plus pounds as an unopposed champion in Omaha last year, entered the tournament ranked second. She lost to the top-ranked 178-pound boxer on Friday night.

Camacho and Coleman also dropped decisions to fighters who were ranked in the top 10 nationally.
