  • 0

KEARNEY, Neb. — Wade Allison scored two power-play goals in the first six minutes, and Dan Labosky added a goal and two assists as Tri-City beat Omaha 6-4 on Saturday.

The Lancers (22-18-4) had 38 shots on goal, but the Storm (22-12-11) capitalized on three of their four power-play chances to hold on for the victory.

The Storm, five points ahead of the Lancers for second place in the USHL’s Western Conference, scored six times on 29 shots at Lancer goalies Zackarias Skog and Kris Oldham.

Trailing 3-2 in the second period, the Lancers pulled even when John Wojciechowski scored off a rebound for his first USHL goal.

But the Storm scored two straight goals to pull ahead for good.

The Lancers will have three road games next weekend, beginning with a matchup at Muskegon on Friday at 6:15 p.m.
