Four-time individual state champion James Burks won the 152-pound Greco-Roman title at the Junior Nationals.

James Burks, who was a four-time state champion for Omaha Burke, won the 152-pound Greco-Roman title at the Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, on Friday.

Burks controlled Minnesota’s Cael Carlson for an 11-0 technical fall, ending the match with a four-point throw.

Millard West’s Camden Russell added to the state title that he won in February by taking the 126-pound division at nationals with an 8-4 decision over Minnesota’s Cael Swensen. Russell trailed 3-0 at the break before rallying.

Among other Nebraska wrestlers in the top five, Jakason Burks of Burke was third at 120, and Isaac Trumble of Millard South was third at 195. Millard South’s Caleb Coyle was fifth at 106, and Burke’s Nathan Rubino was fifth at 113.
