LINCOLN – The Nebraska high school softball championships will stay in Hastings for the next five years.

The NSAA board accepted Hastings’ bid over those from York, Grand Island and North Platte at its monthly meeting Thursday. Hastings will enlarge dugouts and raise the netting height of the backstops at the Smith Softball Complex.
