Mitch Kahre, Elkhorn: Tossed a three-hitter in a win over Omaha Central.

Noah Jones, Omaha Concordia: Threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out eight in a win over Omaha South.

Devin Trumbley, Lincoln Southeast: Homered and drove in two in a win over Grand Island.

Gage Allen, Bellevue West: Tossed a complete-game shutout in a win over Omaha Northwest.

Nico Sall, Omaha Creighton Prep: Belted a go-ahead triple in a 13-inning win over Omaha Westside.

Zach Colbert, Papillion-La Vista: Tossed a complete-game shutout against Omaha Central.

Nolan Sailors, Ralston: Went 5 for 5 in a win over Omaha Roncalli.

Jarrett Novak, Millard South: Tossed a complete-game three-hitter in a win over Omaha Creighton Prep.

Jacob Legleiter, Omaha Skutt: Struck out eight in a win over South Sioux City.

Drake Donahoe, Millard North: Allowed two hits in a win over Lincoln East.

Jonah Reiser, Waverly: Tossed a one-hitter in a win over Seward.

CJ Fleeman, Columbus: Had the walk-off RBI single in a win over Lincoln Pius X.

Mason Casper and Corbin Foster, Kearney: Casper struck out 12 in a win over Grand Island. Foster belted three home runs in one day in wins over Omaha South and Norfolk.

Danny Schumacher, Papillion-La Vista South: Had three RBIs in a win over Lincoln East.


Noah Wooden, Centura: The outstanding boys athlete at the Central Nebraska Track Classic won the long jump, triple jump and pole vault.

Marshall Chasek, Minden: His 14.30 in the 110 hurdles at the Southwest Conference meet took the state lead.

Dylan Kautz, Norfolk Catholic: Repeated as the Denny Fuehrer Outstanding Boys Performer at the Norfolk Track Classic as he broke the meet record in the 200, came within .02 seconds of his meet record in the 100 and anchored the school-record 400 relay.


Maya Nachtigal, Aurora: Was named the outstanding girls athlete at the Central Nebraska meet as she ran on the winning 3,200 relay and took gold in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters.

Madison Smith, Lexington: Her 19-10 at the Holdrege Invitational put her third on the all-time chart in the girls long jump. At her school’s Don Bader meet, she won the 100 and 200 and had two long jumps over 19 feet.

Sara Reifenrath, Hartington Cedar Catholic: At the Norfolk Classic, she set a meet and state record in the 100 (12.20 seconds) to start a sweep of the three sprints and earn the meet’s outstanding female athlete award.


Grant Jabenis, Omaha Westside: His 3-under 69 at ArborLinks in Nebraska City was good for a one-stroke victory over Josh Peters of team champion Millard North.

Geran Sander and Josh Bartels, Lincoln Southwest: Sander, a sophomore playing No. 5 for the Silver Hawks, led them to the team title of their tournament at Wilderness Ridge by matching par 71. So did Bartels, who finished second in a scorecard playoff as Southwest shot its season low of 298.
