Carl Brown's buzzer beater for Omaha Westside makes SportsCenter

Fans celebrate with the Omaha Westside boys basketball team after defeating Millard North.

Trailing by two with 1.6 seconds remaining, Omaha Westside's Carl Brown banked in a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lead the Warriors to a 54-53 win over Millard North.

Brown's winning shot was Scott Van Pelt's "Best thing I saw today" on SportsCenter Tuesday night.

Bret Porter had scored what looked to be the game-winner on a drive on 0.4 second showing, but 1.6 seconds was put back on the clock.

It was enough time for the in-bounds pass to go to Chase Thompson at midcourt, who passed to Brown for the winner and Westside's first trip to state in five years.
