WATERLOO, Iowa — Five players scored rushing touchdowns as Sioux City held off Omaha 43-32 in Champions Indoor Football action on Saturday.
Antonio Bray rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on 17 attempts for the Beef (1-1), who were unable to dig out of a 19-point halftime deficit.
Omaha pulled within 40-32 on Bray’s 6-yard run with 12:07 remaining.
But Sioux City’s Greg Conry kicked an 18-yard field goal with just less than six minutes remaining.
The Beef turned the ball over on downs on their next possession, and the Bandits (1-1) ran out the clock.
The Beef will host Wichita on Saturday at 7 p.m.
