Opening weekend finished without a hitch, but the College World Series isn't completely in the clear.

Of course, the tournament is no stranger to weather frustrations.

Randy Buhr, the director of championships and alliances for the NCAA, said last year that 2018 was "the most challenging College World Series as it pertains to inclement weather."

Below is the forecast for this week:

Monday: Slight chance rain/storms in evening; highs in low 80s, calm winds.

Tuesday: Scattered storms likely afternoon and evening — none expected to be severe, lightning likely in the area; highs upper 70s.

Wednesday: Slight chance of afternoon storms.

Thursday-Saturday: Ongoing, slight chance of storms because Omaha is expected to be on the fringe of stormy weather moving across the central/southern U.S. Storm track could change.
