Huston Street

Huston Street was named Most Outstanding Player of the CWS after helping lead Texas to the 2002 national title.

Former pitchers Eddie Bane of Arizona State and Huston Street of Texas are this year's inductees for the Omaha College Baseball Hall of Fame.

They will be honored Saturday night at TD Ameritrade Park during the College Home Run Derby.

Bane threw shutouts in back-to-back years at the CWS — a 1-0 win over Oklahoma in 1972 and a 3-0 win over Minnesota in 1973. He's one of three players in CWS history to throw multiple complete-game shutouts.

Street is the CWS career leader in saves with five and set the single-season record of four in 2002. He was named the Most Outstanding Player that year as Texas won the national title. He also pitched in the CWS in 2003 and 2004.
