UNO pitcher Payton Kinney and Creighton first baseman Jake Holton were both named third-team All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings.

Kinney posted a 1.96 ERA with an 11-2 record this season to become the Mavericks’ first All-American since moving to Division I. He was also named the Summit League pitcher of the year while helping UNO win the conference regular season and tournament titles.

Holton led the Bluejays with a .386 batting average, including 14 home runs and 58 RBIs. Holton was also named a third-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball.
