UNO controlled play at the net as the Mavericks swept South Dakota State 25-17, 25-11, 25-13 Monday night at Baxter Arena.

Sadie Limback was dominant for the Mavericks (11-11) as she had 19 kills on 27 swings for a .630 hitting percentage. Isabella Sade added 10 kills and hit .444.

As a team, the Mavericks hit .424 and held the Jackrabbits to .054. Sami Clarkson had 34 assists for UNO, and Claire Mountjoy added a team-best 11 digs.

UNO trailed 9-6 in the opening set before seizing control with a 6-1 run. The Mavs never trailed in the second set and used a 9-1 run to take a 19-10 lead in the third.

The win improves UNO to 4-4 in Summit League play as it moves into a tie for fourth place. The Mavs head to North Dakota this weekend to play UND on Saturday and NDSU on Sunday.
