Sami Slaughter had 16 kills Friday as Summit League-leading South Dakota bounced back from a first-set loss to win the next three in a 25-27, 26-24, 25-21, 25-14 win over UNO at Baxter Arena.

Isabella Sade had 16 kills for the Mavericks (14-12, 7-5), and Sadie Limback had 15, but the Coyotes (22-1, 11-0) pulled away late to extend their winning streak to 19.

UNO, which had a four-match win streak snapped, led 22-21 in the second set before South Dakota evened the match.

There were 14 ties in the third set, the last at 20-20 before the Coyotes finished off that set.
