D'Andre Davis

D'Andre Davis was in Lincoln in September for the canceled game against Akron. He committed Saturday after returning on an official visit.

The Nebraska men's basketball team landed a commitment Saturday from 2020 forward D'Andre Davis.

Davis — from Indianapolis Lawrence Central — was in Lincoln this weekend on an official visit. It was his second trip to Lincoln in two months after he participated in the Huskers' camp Sept. 1 before attending the canceled Akron game.

Davis (6-foot-5, 170 pounds) is a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports composite. He ranks as the No. 203 prospect nationally and the No. 36 small forward. He's the fifth-ranked player in Indiana.

Davis received a Nebraska scholarship offer on Oct. 6. He also had scholarship offers from Ball State, Bradley, Cleveland State, Evansville, Indiana State, IUPUI, Miami (Ohio), Southern Illinois and Toledo.

He is the Huskers' second commit in the 2020 class, joining Lincoln North Star guard Donovan Williams.
