LINCOLN — Nebraska was ranked No. 25 in the USA Today preseason coaches poll released Thursday morning.

The Huskers crack the top 25 of the poll for the first time since 2014. Earlier this week, Nebraska was left out of the AP Top 25, receiving the 30th-most votes.

Other Big Ten schools who made the coaches' top 25 include No. 10 Michigan State, No. 18 Michigan and No. 22 Purdue. Clemson, which Nebraska will play Nov. 26, landed at No. 23.
