It appears another quarterback is now on Nebraska's radar for the 2018 recruiting class.

Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton senior-to-be Tyler Shough is visiting Nebraska today, according to 247Sports. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Shough is rated a mid-level three star by 247Sports but he's otherwise unrated, with offers from San Jose State, Hawaii and Western Kentucky, among others. He tossed 27 touchdowns last season for Hamilton.

At a recent 7-on-7 tournament in Las Vegas, Shough was one of the standout performers.

Nebraska's top QB target for 2018 is still Coeur d'Alene (Idaho) standout Colson Yankoff; he's supposed to be visit this spring, perhaps for the spring game itself. Also, NU is pursuing another 2018 quarterback, Corona (Calif.) Centennial's Tanner McKee, who plans on taking a two-year Mormon mission and becoming a 2020 signee.

Shough, taller than Yankoff, is an intriguing option. Here are his Hudl highlights
