With spring practices nearly here, World-Herald staff writers Jon Nyatawa and Sam McKewon are taking a closer look at the freshmen.

Both redshirts and early enrollees, there are several freshmen that have a big opportunity this spring to push for legitimate playing time come fall. They discuss Patrick O'Brien, who'll participate in his first spring with the Huskers, and a handful of redshirt freshmen like Eric Lee, Avery Anderson, Khalil and Carlos Davis and more.
