You thought Quayshon Alexander was all "N"? Not so fast.
Alexander — A Nebraska recruiting target who has been committed to the Huskers since June 2015 — will announce his final college decision Wednesday morning, according to NJ.com. The report states he's still considering Rutgers, Pitt and Indiana. The Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic prospect will make his decision public during a press conference at his school at 8 a.m.
In a 2015 interview with The World-Herald, Alexander said he was "locked and loaded with Nebraska," though obviously that's changed.
Rutgers is the primary threat to NU for Alexander. His older brother plays for the Scarlet Knights, and he took an official visit there this past weekend.
Alexander is one of three linebackers currently committed to the Huskers, along with Pernell Jefferson and Greg Simmons. The 2016 recruiting class enters signing day with 21 total commits, including a few signing day eve additions in David Engelhaupt and Lamar Jackson.
Alexander is three-star prospect, according to the 247sports composite rating system, and the No. 473 overall recruit in the country. He’s also the 12th best player in New Jersey.
