One of Nebraska's top targets in the 2016 class, Olathe (Kan.) North athlete Isaiah Simmons, picked Clemson Tuesday afternoon over the Huskers.

Simmons visited the Tigers over the weekend. He visited Nebraska Jan. 22. Despite having family in the Omaha area, Simmons picked Clemson, who only offered him within the last month.

NU's 2016 class remains at 21 heading into Signing Day. The Huskers had hoped to add Simmons to the class, though, and he was at the top of coach Mike Riley's wish list for the 2016 class.

It's a loss in the 500-mile radius.
