Nebraska's 2016 class offers a potential upgrade to pass coverage, but the Huskers missed on potential pass rushers.

How does Husker Nation feel about the class?

Seventy-three percent of fans gave coach Riley and the 2016 class a solid B grade in our fan poll. 13 percent voted A, 13 percent for C and only 2 percent for D.

Two players earned top honors for the class.

Lamar Jackson, the Huskers highest rated recruit, ran away with the Instant Impact fan poll.

Jackson earned 55 percent of the vote, with heralded QB recruit Patrick O'Brien finishing second with 18 percent. Quayshon Alexander and Tre Bryant each received 11 percent of the vote and Marquel Dismuke received 5 percent.

Minnesota wide receiver JD Spielman won the Hidden Gem badge in the fan poll.

Spielman beat out Derrion Grim and JoJo Domann for first place. Spielman earned 43 percent, while Grim and Domann earned 21 and 20 percent respectively. Ashland-Greenwood produce Ben Stille (8 percent) and Tony Butler (7 percent) rounded out the field.
