Husker Camp Countdown: No. 35 Tyjon Lindsey

Tyjon Lindsey was the highest ranked recruit in Nebraska's 2017 recruiting class.

The World-Herald is counting down the top 50 Nebraska players you need to know heading into the 2017 season.

It’s not a stretch to think Lindsey can have a similar impact to what Stanley Morgan (2015) and De’Mornay Pierson-El (2014) did during their freshman seasons — and the Huskers might need that and more from the talented newcomer.

Lindsey isn’t very big but comes in with the kind of explosiveness and open-field danger that concerns opposing defensive coordinators. What NU won’t know until August, however, is how the former Ohio State commit handles the grind and demands when fall camp starts.

NU needs help after losing three valuable senior receivers from a year ago and recently learning that Keyshawn Johnson Jr. won’t be here in fall.
