Reimers has proven to the coaches that he can go up and get it, so his size and length are tools that can help the Huskers at receiver. His sophomore season included five receptions for 75 yards, including a 22-yard touchdown during the second-half rally against Oregon.

Experience also should work in his favor, especially after NU lost a ton of it with Jordan Westerkamp, Alonzo Moore and Brandon Reilly finishing their careers. The former walk-on from Lincoln East went on scholarship for the spring semester, and would be a strong candidate to stay there in the fall.
