Game predictions: Nebraska the heavy underdog for first time this season

Wisconsin is the heavy favorite over Nebraska in this battle of teams ranked in the top 11.

Nebraska is in a different position this week than it's been all season — the underdog.

We rounded up more than 80 predictions from national media, and there aren't many picking Nebraska. In fact, only six are picking the Huskers to come out with the upset.

And that lines up with Vegas. As of Thursday afternoon, Nebraska is an 8.5-point underdog — the first time this year the Huskers aren't considered the favorite by oddsmakers.

NU is the more popular pick when it comes to the spread, though. Of 45 predictions that included a score or were picked against the spread, NU covered in 31 of them. NU is 4-2-1 against the spread this season.
