Zach Green has two homers to help Sacramento rally from four-run deficit to defeat Storm Chasers

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Zach Green's second home run of the night propelled Sacramento to a 5-4 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Wednesday night.

Sacramento trailed 4-0 before Green hit a solo homer in the seventh. Francisco Pena had a sacrifice fly in the eighth, then Green's three-run shot proved to be the game-winner.

Omaha took a 3-0 lead in the second inning as Jecksson Flores hit an RBI triple and Brett Phillips followed with a two-run home run. It was Phillips' third homer in the last six games.

Flores and Bubba Starling each had two hits to lead the Omaha offense. Starling's batting average improved to .347.

Jake Newberry was tagged with the loss as he allowed Green's eighth-inning homer. Jake Kalish pitched five effective innings for Omaha, giving up one run and two hits while striking out five.

Omaha, which drops to 32-34, continues its series at Sacramento Thursday at 9:05 p.m.
