SAN ANTONIO — Troy Stokes hit a two-run double in a five-run fourth inning as San Antonio beat Omaha 8-3 to earn a series split.

Jake Hager drove in two more with a double in the inning for the Missions (36-22), who tagged Zach Lovvorn for five runs on three hits in two innings Sunday.

The Storm Chasers (27-31) gave little help to their five pitchers, stranding six runners, going 2 for 9 with runners in scoring position and committing four errors.

Lovvorn pitched a scoreless third after opener Kyle Zimmer allowed an unearned run in two innings. But he allowed the first five hitters in the fourth to reach.

The Missions later tacked on a run in the fifth and seventh innings. Nate Orf scored on an error in the fifth before coming home on a single in the seventh.

Bubba Starling had two hits, a triple and an RBI for Omaha, while Samir Duenez drove in two runs.

The Chasers will host Albuquerque on Tuesday.
