SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Jecksson Flores and Brett Phillips each homered to lead the Omaha Storm Chasers to a 7-1 win over Sacramento on Friday night.

The Nos. 8 and 9 batters in Omaha's lineup, Flores and Phillips combined to go 4 of 7 with four runs scored and five RBIs.

Both have been hot at the plate as of late. Flores has hit safely in eight straight games, going 14 of 32 during that stretch. Phillips has homered in four of the last eight games.

Three Omaha pitchers combined on a six-hitter as Zach Lovvorn picked up his third win this season. He allowed one run and five hits over 5⅓ innings.

The losing pitcher was former Creighton pitcher Ty Blach, who allowed five earned runs in 5⅓ innings.

The Chasers begin a four-game series at Fresno on Saturday at 9:05 p.m.
