Cheslor Cuthbert hit a two-run homer and Jecksson Flores had four hits as Omaha rolled to a 5-0 win over Oklahoma City at Werner Park on Sunday night.

The Storm Chasers (22-28), who had lost four of five entering Sunday, scored three runs in the third and had three pitchers combine to shut down the Dodgers (17-31).

Kyle Zimmer allowed one hit in two innings as the opener, and Jake Kalish followed with seven strikeouts in six innings. Richard Lovelady pitched a perfect ninth to seal the Chasers’ first shutout victory since they beat Oklahoma City 4-0 April 9.

Flores hit the first of his two doubles in to score Brett Phillips in the third. Cuthbert followed by driving a 1-0 offering from Daniel Corcino over the left-field wall.

The Chasers added a run in the fourth on a bases-loaded walk and picked up another in the sixth on Jorge Bonifacio’s sacrifice fly.

The Chasers tallied 10 hits and seven walks while striking out twice.

The Chasers continue their series with the Dodgers Monday with a Memorial Day doubleheader that begins at 12:05 p.m.
