The Omaha Beef have named former Nebraska running back Cory Ross as head coach and two other former Huskers as assistants.

“Getting Cory is real coup for the Beef,” said the indoor football team’s owner, Rich Tokheim. “Cory approaches coaching with the same passion and tenacity that he did during his successful and impressive career at Nebraska.”

Assisting Ross will be former Husker defensive backs Josh Bullocks and Keyuo Craver. All three former Huskers played in the NFL. Demetrius Ross, a 15-year veteran of indoor football, is also a Beef assistant.

The Beef, who play at the Ralston Arena, have a preseason game on Feb. 13 before starting the regular season in March.
