When it comes to academic success, the most profound accomplishments aren’t just numbers.
The first glimpse of confidence on a struggling student’s face, or a teen celebrating acceptance into a dream college – these moments of triumph are the real measure of success at Huntington Learning Center.
Huntington’s academic programs grow right along with students, explains Gwyn Morris of Huntington Learning Center in Omaha.
“The needs change as the students grow,” Morris says. “For instance, we have had kids come in and do a learning center program, return in middle school to get help with study skills, and then come back in high school for ACT prep.”
No matter a student’s age or grade level, Huntington offers a variety of courses and programs designed to boost academic performance, hone skills and prep for tests.
Here are just a few success stories from the Huntington grade book.
“There are a lot of things that we love about Huntington. We love the regular meetings with staff to keep up on how our child is doing. We love that staff will do whatever it takes so our child is successful — from trying a different teacher, trying different strategies or taking a short break from a difficult task. We love that staff are so accommodating and willing to work around our crazy schedule. Finally, we love that our child enjoys going. Her confidence has grown so much during her time at Huntington. Thank you for everything!”
