New teachers at RPS

Dr. Mark Adler, Ralston Public Schools superintendant, speaks at the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon Aug. 8 at the Ralston Arena. Adler spoke to the community about the upcoming school year and let principals at Ralston schools introduce new teachers and staff members. Mayor Don Groesser also gave a brief update on the city.

Here is a list of the new teachers in Ralston for the 2017-18 school year:

Meredith Johnson — Wildewood/Meadows elementary schools media specialist.

Alexis Heilig — Seymour Elementary fifth grade.

Ashley Turner — Ralston Public Schools nurse.

Miranda Watson — Meadows sixth grade.

Jeremy Mathis — ELL at Blumfield Elementary.

Brianna Paulson — Speech language pathologist at Mockingbird Elementary.

Stephanie Langel — English at Ralston High School.

Paige Bowder — ELL at RHS.

Victoria Stangl — Blumfield third grade.

Katlyn Powers — English at RHS.

Katherine Schwartz — Deaf and hard of hearing kindergarten through sixth grade at Karen Western Elementary.

Jamiane Larsen — Spanish at RHS.

Rachel Kirshman — Karen Western kindergarten.

Lora Rowser — Resource teacher at RHS.

Margo Pruis-Trapp — Math at RHS.

Kellon Johnson — Social studies at RHS.

Annie Fauble — Mockingbird third grade.

Rachel Wright — Karen Western third grade.

Brittany Hill — Mockingbird first grade.

Lisa McKee — Karen Western fourth grade.

Mary Gudenrath — Seymour third grade.

Julie Temme — Blumfield/Seymour psychiatrist.

Deanna Anderson — Reading specialist at Wildewood/Mockingbird.

Callie Friesen — Blumfield preschool.

Kylie Murcek — Blumfield sixth grade.

Nicole Meyer — Special education at Mockingbird.

Andrew Peters — Instrumental music director at Ralston Middle School and elementary schools.

Kortney Daws — Meadows fifth grade.

Shelli Mosser — Special education at Mockingbird.

Sarah Tripp — French at RHS.

Tana Starman — Newcomer program at RHS.
