Last Thursday evening was the perfect time for more than 750 people to stroll around downtown Ralston and enjoy some wine.

A line of people extended down Miller Avenue before the beginning of the Wine Walk, organized by the Ralston Area Chamber of Commerce, as they anticipated sampling wine at 27 businesses throughout Ralston’s downtown area, getting rides from Ollie the Trolley and enjoying chamber of commerce weather.

“I thought it was fantastic,” chamber President Amy Roeder said. “I don’t think the weather could’ve turned out any better.”

New businesses that participated this year were Restore Chiropractic, Senior Helpers, Ground Zero Hobby, Sojourn Cafe and there was a table for a pass to Nebraska Brewery and Winery.

“Everybody thought it was a successful night and they’re happy to have that many people in their businesses,” Roeder said.
