Arrest made following threat at Ralston High School

The Ralston Police Department and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Omaha Police Department, responded to Ralston High School on Dec. 13 due to a gun threat later found to be false.

An arrest has been made in connection with a threat made to Ralston High School last week.

At about 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, Ralston Police Officers were dispatched to RHS regarding an armed party in the school.

After an investigation, it was confirmed the 911 caller who reported the incident had fabricated the story.

The caller was a juvenile male.

After further investigation on Thursday, the juvenile was arrested for terroristic threats and booked at the Douglas County Youth Center, according to a Ralston Police Department press release.
