Sarah Blomenkamp PT, of Hillcrest Community Rehabilitation, will speak on successful aging and how to manage while living with Parkinson’s. The Papillion Area Lions Club will host Hops for Harmony, a beer tasting and food event, at Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Hops for Harmony is a fundraising event for Project Harmony, an agency committed to ending child abuse and neglect. Tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the door. Tickets are available at area Hy-Vee stores (customer service counter) or from any Lions Club Member.

In conjunction with Papillion Days, the Cruiser’s for the Breath of Life Car Show will host its 10th anniversary show at Grace Baptist Church, 205 E. Halleck St. Registration begins at 5 p.m., followed by the show at 6 p.m. and the awards presentation at 8:30 p.m. Registration fee is $10. There will be 13 classes, including two motorcycle classes, as well as concessions and door prizes. All proceeds benefit the American Lung Association. The Dinosaur Egg Hunt will take place at Southwind Park, 8120 S. 92nd Ave., at 3 p.m.

A senior luncheon will be held at the Steppe Center, 11730 Peel Circle, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to all seniors and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. Springfield Platteview Community Schools is hosting its annual preschool registration. Platteview Early Education Center and Westmont Early Education Center are accepting requests for preschool registration forms for the 2019–20 school year. The Papillion Garden Club meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Trinity Village, 620 W. Lincoln St. This month’s presentation will be the “Wonderful World of Succulents” by Kathy Bokelman.

The Papillion Senior Center, 1001 Limerick Road, hosts a variety of events throughout the week. A Mix and Match Exercise Class meets from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. No reservation is required. Cost is 50 cents per class. Cards, games and conversations take place each Tuesday and Thursday at noon. There will be a Hy-Vee catered lunch at 11:30 a.m. Reservations are required. There will be ceramics every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The cost is the price of a ceramic piece, plus a $1 fee per session per person to use the ceramic supplies provided at the center.
