What do you teach? Physical Education at Bell Elementary.

Experience: Ten years teaching for Papillion La Vista Community Schools and six years for Millard Public Schools.

Hobbies: Reading and exercising.

Who or what influenced you to become an educator? Throughout my education, I have had some amazing teachers that have inspired me to show students that learning can be fun and enjoyable. They taught me to think outside of the box to create lasting memories.

How do you spend your summer vacation? I have two children that my husband and I travel with throughout the summer. You can also catch us relaxing at the local pool.

What’s the most rewarding part of being an educator? I am truly blessed that I get to be the students’ teacher every year. I get to see them grow. Not only physically, but their personalities are all unique. I love the kids and bringing a smile to their faces.

If I weren’t a teacher, I’d be ... I cannot imagine my life not being a teacher. It’s what I was meant to do!
