Bellevue University has climbed to the top spot of the NAIA baseball rankings according to the website Perfect Game.

Noting the Bruins' 5-0 mark this season against top 5 opponents, BU, 11th in Perfect Game's preseason rankings, sits ahead of Oklahoma Wesleyan, Faulkner, Lindsey Wilson and Oklahoma City. The Bruins knocked off Oklahoma City in a pair of games two weeks ago.

The Bruins, 5-1, are ranked 12th in the NAIA baseball coaches pre-season poll, which won't be updated until March 15.

Bellevue returns to action this weekend with a Friday double-header against York in Pittsburg, Kan., then single games Saturday against York and St. Mary's (Kan.) in Joplin, Mo.

The Bruins will be in Florida March 5-12 for a 10-game road trip.
