Papillion-La Vista finished in third place at the District A-3 tournament to qualify for the state tournament Monday.
The Monarchs shot a team score of 322 to finish behind Lincoln East (303) and Lincoln Pius X (312).
The Monarchs had two individual medalists lead the way. Nolan Vondra placed third after carding a 74 while Jack Davis shot a 79 to place ninth.
DJ Savington (83) and Christian Holloway (86) added strong rounds for Papio.
Bellevue East and Bryan also competed in the A-3 tournament but failed to qualify a golfer for state.
• Drew D’Ercole shot a one-under 71 to win the District A-4 title and lead Papio South to a state tournament berth.
The Titans totaled 319 team strokes to finish in third place, grabbing the final spot to qualify for state as a team.
Mason Burger added a round of 80 while Luke McCann and Josh D’Ercole each shot rounds of 84 for the state-bound Titans.
• Gretna will head to state after placing third in the District A-2 tournament at Meadowlark Hills in Kearney.
The Dragons shot a team total of 324 to place third behind Lincoln Southwest (309) and Kearney (320). Bellevue West came in fourth with 340.
Colton Stock led the Dragons by shooting a 78 to place sixth. Colin Kitson came in eighth with an 80 while Zach Weber finished in a tie for 10th with an 82.
Parker Jones (84) and Christopher Atkinson (87) rounded out the Dragon team.
Bellevue West failed to qualify for state as a team but junior Ryan Kaments shot a 75 to place second and advance to state as an individual.
• Platteview claimed third place at the District B-1 tourney at Beatrice Country Club to earn a spot in the Class B state golf tournament.
The Trojans’ posted a team total of 393 to place third and clinch a spot at state.
Jordan Hart led the Trojans by placing second overall by shooting an 81. Christian Jewell added a 97 for the Trojans and Evan Kingston shot a 107.
Gross and Ralston finished in fifth and sixth, respectively. Mike Faulkner led the Rams by shooting an 85 to place fourth and advance to state as an individual.
Dylan Wilson led Gross with a round of 96.
UPDATE: Bellevue West’s Cade Richards was named as an additional state qualifier by the NSAA.
Richards holds an individual stroke differential of 12.490 to make him one of nine Class A golfers added to the state roster.
