The Dragons Closet will host a school supply drive Saturday for students in the Gretna Public Schools.

School Supply Splash will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gretna Public Pool, W. Angus Road and Highway 31. Food and games will be provided.

Pool admission is free with a donation from the wish list. All items will be given to local students entering kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2019–20 school year.

Items needed are 24-count crayons, 12-count colored pencils; 10-count broad markers; 10-count thin markers; wooden pencils; mechanical pencils; highlighters; glue sticks; glue 4-ounce bottles; Kleenex; Clorox wipes; hand sanitizer 8-ounce bottles; hand soap 7.5-ounce bottles; loose-leaf wide ruled paper; loose-leaf college ruled paper; spiral-bound college ruled notebooks; spiral-bound wide ruled notebooks; folders; lined index cards; wooden rulers; red, blue and black pens; new backpacks; sandwich-sized Ziploc bags; quart-sized Ziploc bags; gallon sized Ziploc bags; pink erasers; new Fiskar scissors; one-inch white binder with clear front pocket; one-and-a-half inch white binder with clear front pocket; Scotch Tape; Expo markers; composition notebooks; Post-it notes; pencil boxes six inches by nine inches; pencil bags; scientific calculators and solar calculators.

For those who can not attend the School Supply Splash, donations will be collected at Crossfit Kinesis, Old Navy at Nebraska Crossing Outlets, Acts2 Church, In the Market Auto, U Save Pharmacy Gretna, Gretna Insurance Agency and Popple Family Chiropractic. Collection boxes will be at these locations through July 19.

Parents and guardians may sign up children for the anonymous program through Friday.

To sign up, email thedragonscloset with school name, grade entering, gender and first initial of last name. No sign-ups permitted after Friday.
