New traffic data from the Omaha–Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency shows a 2.3 percent growth in Sarpy County.

The county’s traffic growth has outpaced both Douglas, Pottawattamie and Mills Counties, mirroring its growth in population.

“As suburban development continues on the edge of the community, we anticipate that we will continue to see traffic growth in the western and southwestern parts of the region,” said Greg Youell, MAPA Executive Director.
