A mountain lion was reportedly spotted early Thursday morning near McKenna and West Westplains Road. The reporting party provided this photo to the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, though the image was later found to come from YouTube.

A mountain lion was reportedly spotted early Thursday morning by a resident near McKenna and West Westplains Road.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office is working closely with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in an attempt to locate the mountain lion. Extra patrol is in the area and the public is urged to notify the Sheriff's Office if they see the mountain lion.
