The City of Gretna will host a public open house on the downtown revitalization project today, Wednesday, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Gretna City Hall, 204 N. McKenna Ave.

The limits of the project are McKenna Avenue from Burns Place to half a block north of Figg Street and includes the intersection of Angus Street.

The project will include concrete curb and gutter construction, concrete sidewalk and driveways construction, ADA pedestrian access, fencing, water main replacement and storm sewer construction.

Funding for the project will be provided by the city.

A 15-minute presentation of the project overview will be held at 5:30 p.m. representatives from city staff and the engineering firm will be available to answer questions.
