It’s official: Bellevue is welcoming a new burger restaurant.

This fall, Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews will fill the former Summer Kitchen at 1203 Cornhusker Road, according to the restaurant’s website sickiesburgers.com/brews.

Sickies, a restaurant chain founded in North Dakota in 2012, has five locations in the Midwest, making Bellevue number six.

The restaurant has an expansive menu, including a selection of 50 burgers, 50 beers on tap, milkshakes and malts.

Faith Morrison, interim president/CEO of the Greater Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce, said she is excited to have a new business in the community.

“We always welcome new business in the area and Bellevue is really great about supporting new restaurants,” Morrison said.
