The city’s four swimming pools are on track for their May 28 opening.
City of Bellevue Public Works Director Jeff Roberts said Friday all pools appear to be in good shape, including the pool at Sun Valley in northwest Bellevue that has experienced problems in previous years.
The four pools are:
• Cascio Pool, 1500 Lawrence Lane (Open Until 8:45 p.m. on Wednesdays). Phone 402-293-3149.
• Dowding Pool, 14th and Washington Streets (Open Until 8:45 p.m. on Thursdays). Phone 402-293-3150.
• Gilbert Pool, 29th Avenue and Jackson Street (Open Until 8:45 p.m. on Fridays). Phone 402-293-3151.
• Sun Valley Pool, 52nd Street and Aspen Drive (Open Until 8:45 p.m. on Mondays). Phone 402-293-3049.
Family season passes cost $125.
Youth passes, which are available to persons 18 and under, cost $40.
Adult passes for those 19 and older will be $50.
The cost of renting a pool for an evening pool party is $100.
Non-residents will pay the same as residents. No distinction is made between the two this year.
In all cases, seniors — defined as age 55 and over — will be admitted free on a daily basis.
The season passes grant entry to all four city pools.
