Field Blend, set for Friday night at the 40th Street Theatre, is a new food, wine and entertainment event organized by Howard Street Wine Merchant and Chef Paul Kulik.

It will include a wine tasting from Greg Powell, a visiting winemaker from Kermit Lynch Wineries, and food from several local restaurants, including Dante, Forno and Farine + Four.

A wide variety of Kermit Lynch wines will be available all evening for purchase, and guests can take the bottles into the theater’s wine garden.

The event also will include live music from Mike Marasco, who will be DJing with his collection of records from Antiquarium Records and Almost Music, along with the David Nance Group.

The event starts Friday at 7 p.m. at the theater, 4006½ Hamilton St. Tickets are available online for $20. For more information, or to buy tickets, go to howardstreetwine.com.
