Go to a harvest festival

The Village Pointe Farmers Market will host a Harvest Fest Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will include free hayrack rides, a bounce house, face painting, a bubble performance, mini pumpkin decorating, live music, craft vendors and more. The farmers market takes place in the southeast parking lot behind Old Navy at Village Pointe Shopping Center, 17305 Davenport St. More.

The Village Pointe farmers market plans to close the season with a celebration of autumn. 

Harvest Fest, which will take place Saturday, will include all the regular market vendors, plus face painting, a bounce house, live music, craft vendors, specialty items, a bubble performance, mini pumpkin decorating and free hayrack rides.

The market takes place off of 168th Street and West Dodge Road from 8:30 a.m, to 12:30 p.m.
