To all the extended Steier family: I am so sorry to learn of the death of Maurice Steier. The amount of good he did, and the kindness he showed so many, will live on in eternity. Truly, he was a shining example of what it looks like to live one's life as a disciple of Jesus. What an amazing human being he was, and what a blessing. I will offer Mass for his presence now with God and with his loved ones who have gone before him. -Fr. Jim Clifton, SJ

I am so sorry for the Steier family loss of Maurice. I offer my sincere sympathy. I and my parents, Richard and Thelma Chalupsky remember Maurice from As early as my grade school years at Blessed Sacrament. Maurice and his great, unforgettable smile was at the counter in later years at the pharmacy at Steier Drug. Eventually, I saw Maurice at the Pharmacy location at Immanuel Medical Center when I worked there. Maurice was a kind man, who always remembered his customers. Prayers for all. He was a special man in this world. He will never be forgotten. Jean Chalupsky
