Spencer, Daniel Matthew "Duke" September 12, 1958 - June 20, 2019 Daniel Matthew (Duke) Spencer, age 60, passed June 20, 2019 at his home in Frisco, TX, after a battle with cancer. Born September 12, 1958 in Omaha, NE, the youngest of six children to Victor and Elizabeth Spencer. He graduated from St. Stanislaus Elementary in 1972 and Omaha South High in 1976. Attending Gateway Electronics Institute began his lifelong career in the telecommunications industry. Duke's telecommunication career included working for various technology companies, which had him travel overseas to India and France while also connecting virtually around the country and the world. His ability to work remotely enabled him to live in Ohio where he owned a property with farm animals and enjoyed country living. His most recent company was Nokia. He spent much of his life in Texas, living in Austin and various suburbs of Dallas. In recent years he enjoyed life with friends at "The Slip" boating and jet skiing. He is survived by his son, Jared (J.D.) and his wife, Jessica Spencer, Frisco, TX; granddaughters, Jade and Anaysha Spencer, Omaha NE; grandson, Caclum Haegele, Frisco, TX; Tiffany Cooke (Brad) Claire, Theo, Charles, Ennis, TX; Craig Castine, Anna, TX; siblings, Tom (Jenny) Spencer, Omaha, NE; Christine Spencer (Ken) Williams, Kansas City, MO; Ruthie Spencer (Tom) Petit, Largo, FL; Tip (Terri) Spencer, LaVista, NE; Rick (Patti) Spencer, Indian Harbor Beach, FL; and many friends. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, June 29th, 1pm, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067.
